Job Overview Process Engineer - Polymers Operations at Washington Works, Parkersburg, WV. Report to the Polymers Manufacturing Technology Manager. Supports engineering guidance for Operations, Maintenance, and Technology teams; focuses on troubleshooting, continuous improvement, safety, and capital projects.

Responsibilities Act as a Process Engineering resource and recommend/implement solutions for continuous improvement.

Lead and participate in Process Hazards Analysis (PHA) activities.

Lead capital projects for process improvement and new capital installations.

Provide environmental support and assist in yield, uptime, reliability, safety, and cost improvement programs.

Travel requirements less than 10%.

S. in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering with a process background.

Five or more years of engineering experience in chemical manufacturing.

Basic knowledge of typical chemical plant equipment (pumps, compressors, piping, distillation columns, reactors, refrigeration machines, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications 10 or more years of experience in a chemical manufacturing process.

Experience leading or participating in Process Hazards Analyses.
