Gas Station Attendant - 2nd Shift

A Day in the Life: As a Fuel Station Attendant, your day is centered around keeping the station running smoothly while creating a positive experience for customers. You’re often the first point of contact as customers fuel up or stop in for quick purchases, handling transactions and answering questions while keeping interactions efficient and friendly.
Another part of the role is keeping the station clean, stocked, and ready throughout the day. Between customer interaction, deliveries, and daily upkeep, the role always runs on a full tank, making it a good fit for someone who enjoys variety and working in a fast‑paced environment.
Customer Interaction Skills: Clear, friendly communication during transactions and customer assistance
Processing purchases accurately using cash registers and payment systems
Accuracy in handling payments, inventory counts, and daily checks
Organization & Time Management: Managing tasks such as cleaning, restocking, and monitoring station activity
Following procedures related to fuel handling, equipment checks, and site safety
Inventory Awareness: Restocking merchandise and monitoring supply levels throughout the shift
Following company policies, audits, and daily station procedures
Comfort handling changing customer flow and varying tasks throughout the day
Environment Readiness: Maintaining clean indoor and outdoor areas, including restrooms and fueling spaces
and working in outdoor weather conditions
Must be 18 years of age or older
Prior customer service or retail experience preferred
Ability to operate cash registers and payment systems
Basic math skills required for transactions and cash handling
Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Compliance with company policies including safety, sanitation, and dress standards

Starting rates will be no less than the local minimum wage and may vary based on things like location, experience, qualifications and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement. Dependent on length of service, hours worked and any applicable collective bargaining agreement, benefits include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay (accrued based on hours worked), PTO/Vacation pay (accrued based on hours worked), paid holidays (between 7-9 days annually), bereavement pay, and retirement benefits (pension and/or 401(k) eligibility).
