Please apply through our pipeline requisition here: This pipeline allows the IU Health Talent Acquisition team to connect upcoming and recent diagnostic radiology technologist graduates with opportunities that best align with their unique skills and interests. This is a part-time Mammography Technologist position requiring three 10-hour shifts per week. Available shift times include 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, or 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM. You will be required to work one holiday shift per year.

Performs quality diagnostic and screening mammographic studies utilizing a knowledge of anatomic positions. Ensures patient safety and comfort during procedures by explaining the process, positioning patients correctly, and adjusting equipment as needed. Assists with mammographs, ultrasound, and MR guided breast localizations and biopsies. May perform screening breast ultrasound procedures as required by local facility.
Requires ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when the condition of the patient does not permit routine positioning.
Requires active status as a Registered Technologist - Radiography, RT(R) through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Requires certification in Mammography (M) through the ARRT within 12 months of hire. If performing breast ultrasound, must obtain credential through American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS): RDMS(BR); American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT): RT(S)(BS), or RT(R)(M)(BS); Requires current license through Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH) as a Radiologic Technologist.
Currently meets Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) requirements, preferred.
Requires ability to learn breast ultrasound procedures, if applicable.
