Join Us as Our Physician Liaison
The Physician Liaison serves as the bridge between Children’s Specialized ABA (CSABA) and the medical and healthcare community, building relationships that help connect more children and families to high-quality autism care.
This field-based business development role is responsible for developing and strengthening referral relationships with pediatricians, developmental pediatricians, neurologists, psychologists, psychiatrists, primary care providers, and other professionals who serve children with autism. The Physician Liaison will educate providers about CSABA’s services, strengthen communication throughout the referral process, and drive sustainable referral growth across our center-based and in-home programs.
Every provider relationship you build can create a pathway to care for a child and family who needs compassionate, whole-child ABA therapy.
The ideal candidate is outgoing, relationship-driven, highly organized, and energized by being in the community. Experience in healthcare, physician relations, business development, sales, or marketing is preferred, along with demonstrated interpersonal and customer service skills.
This is a high‑energy, field‑based role for someone who thrives on being on the go. You will spend the majority of your time in your assigned territory, visiting provider offices, hosting educational programs and events, conducting lunch‑and‑learns, and developing relationships that strengthen CSABA’s presence in the local healthcare community.
The Physician Liaison reports directly to the Director of Physician & Provider Relations and plays a critical role in expanding access to CSABA’s whole‑child, compassionate approach to ABA therapy.
Build and sustain strong referral relationships with pediatricians, developmental pediatricians, neurologists, psychologists, psychiatrists, primary care providers, and other healthcare professionals serving children with autism.
Conduct regular provider office visits, lunch‑and‑learns, and educational presentations to increase awareness and understanding of CSABA’s services and care model.
Serve as a trusted resource for providers by sharing information about autism diagnostic pathways, early intervention, available services, and the CSABA referral process.
Develop and execute a territory‑based outreach plan designed to increase provider engagement, strengthen referral relationships, and grow new patient volume.
Identify new referral opportunities and cultivate relationships with high‑potential providers and healthcare organizations throughout the assigned territory.
Maintain regular communication with referring providers and help ensure they receive appropriate updates regarding their patient referrals.
Partner with internal teams to identify opportunities for physicians and other clinical experts to participate in educational programs and community events.
Referral Growth & Community Engagement
Drive consistent referral growth through proactive outreach, relationship management, and disciplined follow‑through.
Represent CSABA at relevant medical conferences, seminars, community events, and new center openings.
Build relationships with schools, early intervention programs, community organizations, and other partners that can help connect families to appropriate care.
Collaborate closely with Intake and Operations to support timely provider communication and create a seamless referral experience for families.
Help expand awareness and access to CSABA services among providers and communities serving families of diverse backgrounds.
CRM, Territory Management & Performance
Maintain timely and accurate documentation in HubSpot of provider interactions, outreach activities, referral activity, follow‑up needs, and relationship status.
Track provider referrals and use data to identify trends, opportunities, and priorities within the territory.
Monitor key performance indicators, including referral volume, provider engagement, territory coverage, office visits, meetings, events, and other outreach activities.
Prepare weekly and monthly activity and performance reports and participate in regular territory planning and performance reviews with the Director of Physician & Provider Relations.
Ensure all outreach activities comply with HIPAA requirements, organizational policies, and applicable healthcare marketing standards.
Experience in healthcare, physician relations, business development, sales, marketing, or a related field preferred.
Strong interpersonal, relationship‑building, and customer service skills.
Confident and engaging communicator who is comfortable meeting with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Comfortable spending the majority of the workweek in the field and traveling throughout an assigned market.
Ability to use CRM tools to manage relationships, document activity, and track performance.
Passion for helping children and families access high‑quality, compassionate care.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Healthcare Administration, Business, Communications, Public Health, or a related field
1-3 years of experience in physician liaison, provider relations, healthcare outreach, sales, or business development
High energy and genuine enthusiasm for spending the majority of the workday driving and conducting in‑person visits
Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills with the ability to connect authentically with diverse healthcare providers and community partners
Comfort with CRM systems and standard productivity tools (Microsoft Office)
Experience in healthcare, pediatric services, behavioral health, ABA therapy, autism services, or a multi‑site healthcare organization
Familiarity with physician office dynamics, referral workflows, and the diagnostic and care pathway for children with autism
Prior experience facilitating lunch and learns, provider education, or clinical outreach
Existing knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis, autism spectrum disorder, or early intervention services
