Key Responsibilities of the RN - Telemetry - Travel

Provide direct nursing care to telemetry patients
Interpret EKG readings and titrate medications as necessary (e.g., Cardizem, heparin)
Collaborate with the Charge Nurse and House Supervisor to ensure patient care standards
Manage advanced respiratory equipment including Cpap, Bipap, and heated high flow
Read and interpret telemetry strips using Phillips monitors
Float to other general medical units as required

Requirements of the RN - Telemetry - Travel

Active IL RN license or confirmation of initiation
BLS certification
Experience with EKG interpretation and medication titration
