As Needed Evening/overnight Nanny

Are you an experienced, career-minded nanny who loves working with toddlers and building lasting relationships with families? A family in the Chevy Chase/Bethesda area is seeking a professional, nurturing nanny to grow with their family and care for their three children, ages 5, 3, and 1. While the two older children will spend much of the day in early childhood programs, aftercare, and activities—and the family plans to have additional support for them—the primary focus will be their active 13-month-old. They are looking for someone who enjoys planning enriching outings to the library, music classes, parks, and other adventures, with a nanny car provided for all work-related driving. The ideal candidate is calm, engaging, and highly experienced with toddlers, while also feeling confident supporting the older children, encouraging independence, and setting loving, consistent boundaries. Strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to stay composed in a busy household are essential. The family hopes to find someone who is flexible to travel, occasionally stay overnight or work evening hours when needed, and is looking for a long-term opportunity to become a valued part of their children's lives. Comfort around dogs is also important, as the family has a friendly dog.
