God's Love We Deliver, a nonsectarian organization, is the New York metropolitan area's leading provider of life-sustaining meals and nutrition counseling for people living with severe illnesses. Begun as an HIV/AIDS service organization, God's Love provides for people living with more than 200 individual diagnoses. Meals are individually tailored for each client by one of our Registered Dietitians, and all clients have access to unlimited nutrition counseling. God's Love supports families by providing meals for the children and senior caregivers of our clients. We are seeking an experienced cook with strong large-batch production skills to prepare, cook, and package meals for our meal program. The ideal candidate can read and scale recipes, work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen, and follow strict food safety and sanitation standards.

Prepare and cook large quantities of food and soup following standardized recipes.

Scale recipes accurately and maintain consistent quality.

Operate kettles, tilt skillets, ovens, and other commercial kitchen equipment.

Supervise and assist volunteers during production and packaging.

Cross-train and assist with other kitchen functions as needed.

Formal culinary training/school preferred.

• Ability to read and follow recipes in English.
• NYC Food Protection Certificate or SERV Safe Certification (required).
• Flexible schedule required: availability for early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
