Misericordia Nursing & Rehabilitation Center has been providing compassionate care to older adults since 1943. A Dietary Aid, you will assist in the preparation, presentation, and distribution of our freshly prepared meals from our professional kitchen. As a Dietary Aid your duties would include:
Assist our Cooks in the preparation of food, as needed.
Coordinate with team members for meal service periods.
Follow our residents' individualized meal plans by ensuring all items are present for meal service
Operate standard kitchen equipment safely, according to training and experience.
Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes.
Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, dishware, and appliances.
Prior experience in healthcare, food service or related field preferred.
Strong and courteous customer service skills, to work within a diverse workforce while providing that service to our residents, family members, vendors, and coworkers.
Strong ability to communicate both verbally and in writing.
Full Time opening - you will be off, every other weekend! Full-Time workers are eligible for Health, Dental & Vision Insurances the 1st of the month following the date of hire. Free Life Insurance. Paid Holidays. Full & Part Time workers receive Paid Time Off (PTO). Retirement Savings Plan.
