Job Title: CNC Machine Operator Job Description

As a CNC Machine Operator, you set up and load raw materials into CNC equipment, run parts according to program files, and use precision measuring instruments to ensure every finished product meets exact design specifications and quality standards. You also play a key role in packaging, tagging, and maintaining a clean and organized work area for each job.

Load raw materials into CNC machines and prepare equipment for production runs

Execute and monitor CNC program files to produce parts according to specifications

Inspect finished products to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards

Perform accurate packaging and tagging of completed parts for identification and shipment

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area through regular housekeeping activities

Collaborate with team members to support efficient workflow and production goals

Hands-on experience with CNC machine operation and general machine operating

Ability to read and interpret blueprints for machining and quality requirements

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort working with manufacturing equipment

Prior experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment

Familiarity with quality inspection practices in a production setting

Organizational skills to manage parts, packaging, and tagging accurately

The role involves operating CNC machines and using precision instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and tape measures throughout the day. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. providing consistent daytime hours in a clean, organized production setting.

This is a Contract position based out of Decatur, GA.
