As a Security Officer Identity Verification in Colonial Heights, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Part‑Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and patrol assigned areas to help support a secure and welcoming location. In this role, you will remain visible, respond to security‑related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Part Time

Provide customer service by following site‑specific access control procedures, screening visitors, verifying credentials, and monitoring entry and exit activity at the location.

Monitor doors, gates, badge readers, and related access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and report security‑related concerns according to site protocol.

Maintain visitor logs, contractor sign‑in records, and other required documentation, and communicate access‑related updates with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
