Facilities Technician 2Our client, a leading facilities management organization, is seeking a Facilities Technician to join their team. As a Facilities Technician, you will be part of the maintenance department in a Boiler Operator position as well as performing overall facilities maintenance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong experience with boilers, plumbing, and mechanics.Location: El Paso, TXPay Range: Up to $30/hourShift: Mon-Fri (7:00 am - 3:30 pm)What's the Job?Perform routine and preventative maintenance on boilers, plumbing, and mechanical systems.Monitor and troubleshoot facility systems including power, HVAC, and controls.Maintain general facility upkeep, including carpentry, plumbing, and vendor management.Replace lighting bulbs and ballasts as needed to ensure safety and efficiency.Assist with moving office furniture, machinery, and equipment as required.What's Needed?Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in mechanical maintenance, with a focus on boilers and facility systems.Strong mechanical background with knowledge of plumbing and HVAC systems.Certification in boilers or chillers is preferred.High school diploma or GED required.Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.What's in it for me?Onsite parking at the El Paso, TX site for convenience.Opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.Potential for contract extension beyond September.Gain valuable experience maintaining critical facility systems.Be part of a team committed to safety and operational excellence.
