Job Description
Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Department
Schedule: Nights (7p-7a)
Assignment Details:
Contract Weeks: 13
Guaranteed Hours: 40
Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Oklahoma (or compact license)
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification
• Preferred within timeframe after hire: TNCC and ENPC certifications
• Prior experience in Emergency Nursing, Critical Care, or high-acuity settings

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive assessments of patients presenting with various conditions.
• Triage patients to determine acuity levels and initiate appropriate care.
• Provide rapid interventions for patients experiencing medical, surgical, traumatic, and psychiatric emergencies.
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures per hospital policy and provider orders.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care, including diagnostic testing and education.
• Document assessments and interventions accurately and promptly in the electronic medical record.
