IT SysAdmin

The Enterprise Systems Administrator shall serve as a Subject Matter Expert for the Department. Perform Microsoft Azure Entra ID and Active Directory management activities.
Develop and maintain processes that optimize Microsoft Azure resources;
Analyze Azure resource performance to identify resource contention and recommend changes or upgrades as needed to ensure optimization;
Work with data center staff, OIT, and users to perform resource deployments, upgrades, and configuration changes;
Administer and configure Azure and AWS infrastructure security as needed for OIT staff and users;
Assist Azure and AWS application owners, administrators, and users with appropriate application access;
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve Windows server issues with minimal impact on users;
Provide recommendations for possible process improvements within the Department's infrastructure team; NOTE: This position is designated as \"essential staff\" and is expected to report for duty when instructed to do so in times of emergency or potential emergency as required by Rule 33-208.002 (4), Florida Administrative Code (F.The Department is seeking one (1) full-time, on-site Enterprise Systems Administrator
NOTE: Any successful Candidate with access to the Department's network is required to complete the Department's Security Awareness Training within 30 calendar days of hire.
A bachelor's or master's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field, or four (4) years of equivalent work experience is required. A minimum of five (5) years of Windows server administration experience with three (3) years administering Windows 2016 and newer;
A minimum of three (3) years of Microsoft Azure and Cloud experience;
A minimum of one (1) years of AWS experience;
A minimum of five (5) years administering Active Directory, Domain Name System (DNS), and Group Policy in environments with over 1,000 users;
Experience writing, testing, and executing PowerShell scripts.
Experience working in virtual server and Cloud environments;
Experience installing, maintaining, and supporting third-party applications; Experience managing projects with a large, distributed user base;
Experience developing and managing schedules for multiple projects;
Experience working in AWS Cloud;
Experience with state government projects;
Experience managing and reporting project metrics in strict compliance with Rule 60GG-1, F.Experience working with technical programming teams;
Knowledge of Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPPA) security standards;
Knowledge of IT standards in a criminal justice environment;
Knowledge in other IT areas such as programming, data analytics, etc.;
