Obstetrician/Gynecologist (OB/GYN Physician)

Are you an OB Hospitalist physician searching for your next locum tenens opportunity? This position with one of VISTA's healthcare partners in California might be the perfect fit for you!
Schedule: 12 shifts per month; 7am-7pm or 7pm-7am (12-hour shifts); providers must be willing to work both days and nights; minimum 7-14 shifts per month required
Hospital only; OB/Gyn Hospitalist unit with 10 labor and delivery rooms, 8 antepartum rooms, 18 postpartum rooms, and 2 dedicated ORs
Low and high-risk OB patient management
OB ultrasounds - Level I/Screening and Level II/Targeted
Surgical gynecology - open, laparoscopic diagnostic/minor, and operative/major (ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA's)
Surgical management of spontaneous abortions and ovarian torsion
Coverage for unassigned OB patients, patients signed out by primary OBs, and unassigned Gyn emergency department patients
Assist private physicians with planned and unplanned C-sections
Laborist back-up and perinatology available
Credentialing: Estimated 30-day credentialing timeframe; clean application required - providers with settlements, DUIs/drug issues, restrictions, terminations, or Medical Board actions are not eligible for temporary privileges; EMR System: Epic
