RN Circulator - CVOR
Location: Asheville, North Carolina
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Job Description: We are seeking an experienced RN Circulator to join our Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) team. As an RN Circulator, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality surgical care, ensuring patient safety, and supporting surgical teams during procedures. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience in the RN Circulator role, particularly in a variety of cardiac procedures.
Responsibilities:
Serve as RN Circulator during a range of cardiovascular surgical procedures.
Ensure patient safety and comfort during surgical interventions.
Collaborate effectively with surgical teams, including scrub techs and surgeons.
Maintain sterile technique and adhere to hospital policies.
Document accurately in the electronic health record using Cerner.
Participate in on-call shifts as required by the unit.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
Current RN License in the state of North Carolina.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Extensive experience as an RN Circulator in CVOR settings.
Preferred: Scrub/first assist experience, though not required.
