Contract (13 or 26 week options available) | Night Shift | 4x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 or 48 hour per week options available | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry units, which may include neuroscience, oncology, trauma, cardiac, ortho, transplant, stepdown, or observation settings
Administer and manage IV drips as required across all assigned units
Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using EPIC electronic health records
Float within scope to various units across one or more campuses to meet facility staffing needs
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team including CNAs, care techs, transport, and paramedics/swoop personnel
Meet weekend and holiday shift requirements as defined by unit scheduling policies
Required Qualifications
Active or pending Registered Nurse (RN) license in Nebraska (pending license accepted; if not in hand at time of submission, start date will be scheduled six weeks out)
Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a large, urban hospital setting
BLS certification required; ACLS strongly preferred
Proficiency with EPIC charting
Experience managing IV drips
Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility (local candidates not accepted)
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience at a Level I Academic Medical Center
ACLS certification
Background in specialty areas such as neuroscience, oncology, trauma, cardiac, or transplant nursing
