Full Time Medical Receptionist Needed

PriMED Physicians is one of Dayton's largest and fastest growing independent medical groups. PriMED has medical offices located throughout the Dayton area. We are doctors, nurse practitioners, nurses, medical assistants, and office staff who share the common philosophy of providing the best care for you and your family. We are currently seeking a Full-Time Medical Receptionist to join PriMED's Physicians and Float between our offices. Receptionist Duties include:

Answer multi-line phone calls within 3-4 rings and professionally:

Confirm patient identity using account details and DOB.

Assist with clerical tasks such as filing, scanning, and records management.

Collect patient financial responsibility at the time of service, including copays, deductibles, and outstanding balances.

Close and reconcile cash and payment batches at the end of each day.

Receptionist Job Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent required.

Certification in Medical Office Administration is preferred but not required.

Minimum of one year of experience in a medical office setting preferred.

Experience handling scheduling, insurance verification, and patient billing is a plus.

Supervision & Teamwork: Ability to work under the direction of the practice manager and physicians.

Cooperation & Initiative: Willingness to take on additional responsibilities to improve office operations.

Professionalism: Maintain a friendly demeanor and less than three customer complaints per year.

Arrive on time, adhere to scheduled hours, and comply with attendance policies.
