Phlebotomy/Phlebotomist (Healthcare)

Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 2:00pm or 7:00am - 3:00pm

Our team is passionate about making a difference, and we're looking for a skilled and experienced phlebotomist to join us. As an experienced phlebotomist at Patient's Choice, you'll be the go-to pro for blood draws. Your expertise will ensure that patients receive excellent care, and you'll play a key role. We're looking for someone who wants to help create positive patient experiences. A typical day here includes performing the proper procedures for specimen collection. These could include Venipuncture, Capillary sticks, Urinalysis, Glucose Tolerances, and First Aid. We require you to display a professional attitude and personal appearance and be familiar with Bloodborne Pathogens, Hazard Communications, and Laboratory Safety Manuals. You will know how to handle patients with adverse reactions to venipuncture and be proficient in computers and technology for data entry purposes. A clean and organized phlebotomy area is a must, and you may be asked to perform additional duties by a supervisor.
Experience: At least 2-3 years of phlebotomy experience is highly preferred
A high school diploma or equivalent is required
Certifications: Completion of a Phlebotomy course preferred
Team Player: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented position
