Description - What You'll Do

• Evaluate test results for reliability, solve discrepancies, and conduct preventive maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for examination as the situation requires.
• Document all procedures in detail, mentor new staff or students, and uphold the high-quality standards of the lab.
• Ensure a clean and safe working environment while adhering to regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree prepared for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within one year of employment.
• Maintain ongoing certification for the duration of employment.
