Full time Caregivers needed. HHA, CNA, PCA

Meadowview of Johnston, a Cassia community in Johnston, IA , is hiring Caregiver (CNAs, HHAs, or PCAs) to join our team. In this role, you will help residents in assisted living with daily living activities and will pass medications as prescribed. This is a great opportunity to grow your nursing aide experience. As a Caregiver at Meadowview of Johnston , you will join our team of professional caregivers to become an important part of our residents' lives. Position Type: Full-Time, benefits eligible position working a varying schedule including rotating weekends

Shift Available:

Caregiver Responsibilities:

Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities.

Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per individualized care plan.

Document services performed on computerized charting system.

Observe resident and report any changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, reaction, and appetite, to the supervisor.

Assist the resident with personal care which may include the following: shampooing of hair, assist with showering/ bathing, fingernail and foot care, and medication administration.

Caregiver Qualifications:

Previous Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA), Personal Care Attendant (PCA), or Certified Medication Aide (CMA) experience required.

A passion for geriatric care.

Good customer service instincts will be important in interacting with family members and visitors.

Must be 18 years or older.
