Cardiac Monitoring Nurse

The Vascular OR RN will provide specialized perioperative nursing support for complex vascular procedures in a Level I Trauma Center. The role involves scrubbing and circulating during high-acuity surgical cases, ensuring patient safety and compliance with all clinical protocols.
Prepare and position patients for vascular surgical procedures, ensuring optimal surgical site and equipment readiness.
Scrub in and assist during complex vascular surgeries including TEVAR, EVAR, AAA, Thrombectomy, and Amputation procedures.
Circulate intraoperatively, monitoring patient status and coordinating with surgical team to maintain workflow.
Adhere to all safety, radiation, and infection control protocols, including maintaining a radiation badge.
Document patient care accurately using EPIC charting system, following facility standards.
Participate in on-call rotations and emergency response efforts during hurricane season, as needed.
Hold an active SC or multi-state RN license, with proof of application or active license at start.
At least 2 years of vascular OR nursing experience, able to scrub and circulate complex cases.
demonstrate strong surgical assistance skills and clinical judgment.
Willing to work 3x12-hour day shifts and participate in on-call rotating schedule.
