In this role, you will collaborate with prominent Cardiothoracic Surgeons to provide all aspects of pre-op and post-op care for surgical patients in the inpatient setting. Responsibilities include management of patients with pre and post op heart, aortic, lung, and esophageal surgery and heart transplant. This is a full time 12.5 hour Night shift position inclusive of rotational weekends located at 4Central -NYP/Weill Cornell University Medical Center. 12 shifts per month (no fourth shift).This position is for care in Cardiac Surg SDU only1 Year of ICU experience preferred.Cardiac or CTICU experience preferredRequired CriteriaMaster's degree as a Nurse PractitionerCurrent New York State Nurse Practitioner licenseNational Board Certified Nurse Practitioner in the specialty of practiceMinimum of one year of experience as a Registered NurseCurrent BCLS certification thru AHAJoin a healthcare system where employee engagement is at an all-time high.
