Some positions may float between nearby school locations
Under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator, the Special Education Teacher will:
Provide quality educational services to students receiving special education support
Deliver specialized instruction and academic support
Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff
Participate in program planning and student progress monitoring
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local special education requirements
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university preferred
Valid State Teaching Certificate as required by state and district regulations
Minimum one year of teaching experience preferred
Standard Elementary, Secondary, or Special Education Teaching Certification preferred
Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements
Grade Level: Elementary & Middle School
Medical Support Level: Level 1

The Special Education Teacher has a commitment to team participation in planning and implementation of student programs including special instruction, tutorial assistance and consultation with general education staff.
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university preferred
Valid state teaching certificate as required by state, contract/district regulations
Minimum of one year experience in teaching environment preferred
State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Elementary Teaching preferred
State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Secondary Teaching preferred
State Teacher Certification; Type: Standard Special Teaching preferred
Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
