Hospitality Host/Hostess

The Host plays an essential role in shaping the guest’s first and last impression of Won’t Stop Hospitality. Energetic, friendly, professional, and confident, the Host provides a warm and organized welcome to every guest. This position is responsible for managing the flow of the restaurant through strategic seating, efficient communication, and calm composure during high-volume periods. The Host upholds Won’t Stop Hospitality’s radically different and radically better guest experience by embodying the company’s core values and maintaining a professional, polished demeanor.

Promptly make eye contact, smile, and greet each guest as they enter the restaurant.

Maintain flow and rotation of seating to ensure smooth service and balanced sections.

Answer phone calls, manage reservations, and respond to guest inquiries with professionalism and accuracy.

Assist service staff with bussing, cleaning, and resetting tables to maximize seating efficiency.

Observe guest body language and dining patterns to proactively communicate needs to service staff.

Previous restaurant or kitchen experience preferred. Must demonstrate basic understanding of food handling, sanitation, and prep procedures.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, write and speak fluently, in the primary language of the property location.

Ability to apply common sense, define problems, collect data and notify management when necessary. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential job functions.

Environment: Work is performed primarily in a restaurant setting with public contact and frequent interruptions.
