Quality Engineering Senior

Eaton’s IS VEH EMB Automotive division is currently seeking a Sr Quality Engineer.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $86000 - $ 110,000 a year.

Eaton announced, on June 11, 2026, the intent to combine its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) with a new company. This position is responsible to ensure outgoing quality of all products in order to meet or exceed customer requirements and expectations. This includes outgoing inspection, first article & PPAP inspection approvals, the segregation, identification, re-work, and the proper disposition of unacceptable or non-conforming parts and materials. This position will also be responsible directing end of the line inspections, ensure manufacturing and all supporting documentation is complete, Quality Engineering and testing functions daily. Ensure facility complies with IATF and ISO-9001 certifications.

Mange external corrective actions that are received from our customers.

• Provide internal communications pertaining to all customer corrective actions received.
• Mange customer concern notifications and coordinate internal actions to resolve customer concerns.
• Lead all customer requested audits including;
• Coordinating internally to meet the customer needs and expectations.
• Maintain visual management of FAIR tracking.
• Generate control plans that meet the expectations of the customer print.
• Manage, dispute & generate all customer Returned Merchandise Authorizations.
• Statistical review of product data for issues, trends and improvements as needed.
• Travel as required to support and meet the needs of our customers.
• Continuously looking for ways to improve the customer experience.
• Ability and willingness to travel as required.
• Support Quality activities as requested.

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited university.

• 2 years’ experience working in a Quality Engineering related support role within a manufacturing environment.

Skills in analyzing quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Proficiency in using software tools for data analysis (e.g., Excel, Minitab).

• Automotive industry experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, technical data sheets, and schematics,
• Quality and Metrology knowledge.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and PDF reader (Word, Excel, Adobe/Firefox, Outlook, etc.)
• Communicate and interact with Engineering, Tool Room and Production as necessary to promote specification compliance.

Must be able to work alone and on teams with good interpersonal and leadership qualities to get assigned tasks completed in a timely manner.

• Must possess good organizational and prioritization skills to maintain and address multiple assigned projects and expectations.
• Must be able to present ideas in a clear and concise manner through various tools or software and gain approval from various levels of the organization.
• Experience and exposure to various manufacturing technologies such as CNC's, molding, grinding, and automation within a manufacturing environment.
• Bi-lingual Spanish
