We are looking to hire a Non-Commissioned Security Officer to join our team in Houston, TX. This position reports to the Project Manager.
The Non-commissioned Security Officer shall provide compliant physical security and protective services in accordance with corporate policies and security and crisis management plans and procedures,s which may include, but are not limited to, the following general tasks:
Deliver exceptional customer service to clients and visitors
Access control and physical security principles
Operation of intrusion alarms, production, and fire detection equipment as well as video surveillance equipment operation
Accurate communication of security information and procedures
Operation of entry and egress access control equipment
Roving foot patrols of interior and exterior building areas
Production of complete and detailed security incident and daily operating reports
Monitoring and responding to intrusion detection systems
Any other activity as requested by Supervisor/Project Manager.
Ability to complete state Security Officer certification, including the DPS online application process, fingerprints, and background investigation
Must fluently speak, read, comprehend, and write in English
Must have High School diploma or GED
Current Texas Non-Commissioned Security Officer License
Security, military, or law enforcement experience
Demonstrated history of safe and successful security operations experience in highly secure facilities
This position requires lifting, standing, walking, sitting, and bending throughout the workday, with some workdays being up to 12 hours.
