Senior Commercial Banker Or Commercial Banker II

The hiring range for this opportunity is $120,000 to $170,000 annual salary along with incentive opportunities, creating a competitive total compensation package based on our pay scale, and may be modified by location and is commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Senior Commercial Banker

Presents a variety of product solutions to meet client needs including Commercial Lending, Treasury Management, Merchant Services, and other related business services. Provides responsive, quality service. Works with the most complex credits.

Discusses and promotes all Bank products and services to establish complete client relationship and collaborates with business partners, bringing in product specialists, as necessary, to help problem solve or structure a transaction.

Negotiates transactions and prices products within targeted rate of return, working with Commercial Banking leadership or Credit Administration for approvals. Exercises sound credit and risk judgment. Ensures quality of all Bank business.

Collaborates with other Bank lines of business. Monitors and analyzes relationship plan results and account activities. Makes recommendations regarding accounts to be further developed or eliminated. Monitors portfolio for quality, risk, and adherence to policy. Works closely with Portfolio Managers, Commercial Banking Leadership and Credit Administration to ensure sound portfolio management, client introductions and timely resolution of issues.

Analyzes problem credits and meets with clients to develop solutions to minimize lost exposure.

Serves as a product specialist and a technical consultant to clients in various business segments and geographic locations. Develops and conducts client and employee training sessions and informal updates.

Participates in civic and community affairs as appropriate.

Maintains a current understanding of Bank policies and procedures in compliance with all federal and state laws, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act (SARs, CIP, OFAC), Information Security (GLBA), Identity Theft Red Flags, Financial Elder Abuse Reporting, and any other applicable regulations that may be specific to your job duties.

High school diploma or equivalent, required. Undergraduate degree preferred.

• 5 years of Commercial Banking experience, or related advanced Business Development experience.
• Exceptional knowledge of commercial credit policies and procedures. Experience with the most complex credits and offers experience and risk knowledge on structuring credit.

CB II – experience with more complex business and C&I Credit structuring.
