Cardiac ICU-PCU - Registered Nurse

Circulating Nurse – Surgery
Schedule: Varies/Days, rotating weekends
Assignment Details:

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40
Requirements:

Current unencumbered Oregon RN license required upon submission.
Healthcare Provider Level BLS required.
AHA ACLS required.
One (1) year experience as a Circulating Nurse in the OR, or completion of approved didactic pre-operative nursing class.
Two (2) years experience in ICU/PCU and/or a medical/surgical acute care setting.
One (1) year CVOR/Open Heart experience required.
ICU experience preferred.
Scrubbing experience preferred.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Collaborate with surgical team members to ensure safe and effective patient care during surgical procedures.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of the surgical procedure and patient condition.
Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes in condition.
Ensure the operating room is properly prepared and sterile for surgical procedures.
Assist with patient positioning and transfer as necessary.
Adhere to all safety and infection control policies and procedures.
