You will work directly alongside our Loan Officers to manage active pipelines, support borrowers through the loan process, and ensure every file moves toward an on-time closing. Skyline Mortgage is seeking a Licensed Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant to join our fast-growing team. You will work directly alongside our Loan Officers to manage active pipelines, support borrowers through the loan process, and ensure every file moves toward an on-time closing. Assist Loan Officers with taking loan applications and collecting required documentation.

Evaluate loan applications and determine the creditworthiness of applicants.

Collect and analyze financial information to assess the risk and feasibility of loan requests.

Guide clients through the entire loan application process, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and on time.

Maintain a thorough understanding of loan products and cross-compare guidelines against borrowers\' specific financial scenarios.

Keep an organized and up-to-date log of loan applications and prospective borrowers.

Stay current with industry regulations and changes in lending practices, including TILA and Fair Housing guidelines.

Provide exceptional, white-glove customer service — addressing inquiries and resolving issues throughout the loan process.

Proficiency in using financial software systems, such as Arive or other POS and LOS systems.

Ability to analyze financial data and make informed decisions based on guidelines.

Familiarity with financial and lending practices.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple loan applications simultaneously.
