Massage Therapist Shift Lead (Nights and Weekends)
Massage Heights, Kingston, NY

Must work Nights and Weekends (32-35 hours per week)
· Sunday 10-6

Starts at $45 per Service hour and can increase to $65 per Service hour based on performance and request rate.(Hourly Service rate can increase to $55 per hour, after the therapist is requested 70% for 2 months consistently (needs to work at least 25 service hours per week, (nights and weekends)

• Hourly Service rate can increase to $65 per hour, after the therapist is requested 85% for 2 months consistently (needs to work at least 25 service hours per week, (nights and weekends)
• $25 per Management hour (up to 4 hours per week)
• The Massage Therapist Shift Lead roles and responsibilities include those of the Therapists.
• Directly supervise and be accountable for all aspects of Back End Operations. Includes ongoing Operations and Management
• Address and resolve all customer and team member concerns promptly
• Lead by example: achieve personal as well as team goals.
• Manages the recruiting, interviewing and hiring of Massage Therapists aligned with the Lead Massage Therapist.
• Develop and Manage Massage Therapist job postings. Continually develop a pipeline of therapists’ right out of school.
• Develop Relationships with local MT schools. The goal is to develop a pipeline of Therapists right out of school.
• Coach Team Members to achieve peak performance.
• Support Massage Therapists with Bi-monthly team meetings to review retreat focus, areas of growth. Perform training for new employees.
• Assess and perform training for all MT’s, including Massage Heights corporate policies and procedures. Train therapists on existing and upcoming Elevations. Implement creative skill training ideas.

• · People oriented with strong customer service and public relations skills
• · Working knowledge of computers and standard software
• · Available to work varied hours/weekends, evenings, holidays etc.
• · Experience in training, coaching, and conflict resolution a plus
• · Comply with local and state licensing laws and regulations
• · Carry personal liability insurance
• · Hold current New York state license to practice massage therapy
• · Capable of at least deep tissue, Swedish and maternity massage modalities
• · Believe in regular massage therapy as part of a healthy lifestyle
• · NOTE: Set up 4 hours of Management time available possibly 30 or 60 minutes spread over 4 shifts. Management hours are compensated at $25 per hour.
