Head of Operations Management (m/w/d)

Job Description Lead the operations that keep Branson moving.
The City of Branson is seeking a skilled and motivated Operations Manager to help oversee key Public Works functions that support safe, reliable, and well-maintained city infrastructure. This position plays a vital leadership role in managing streets, signage, rights-of-way, vehicles, equipment, and essential public works operations.
As Operations Manager, you will help ensure City infrastructure, streets, signage, right-of-way areas, vehicles, and equipment are maintained to high standards and remain in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local requirements.
What You'll Do: In this role, you will oversee the planning, organization, and administration of several important Public Works operations, including:
Streets Division operations , including pavement and right-of-way maintenance, mowing, snow and ice control, and drainage system maintenance
Sign Shop operations , including the printing, construction, placement, and maintenance of road signs throughout the City
Vehicle and Equipment Service Center operations , ensuring City vehicles and equipment are properly maintained and ready for use
Staff supervision , project coordination, process improvement, and response to operational needs throughout the City
A High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Graduation from a regionally accredited four-year institution of higher learning with a degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a closely related field.
Direct full-time job-related professional experience of six (6) or more years, may be substituted for the degree requirement.
Three (3) years of supervisory experience in municipal public works management or closely related industry.
Possess a valid Class B CDL license or obtain within six (6) months of hire date.
A passing grade on the written portion of the Class A or B CDL exam is required before employment.
Be willing to work on the On-Call duty rotation, and emergency calls outside of normal work hours as scheduled. This will include evenings, weekends, and holidays assigned.
Be willing to work snow routes that include twelve (12) hour shifts during the months of November through March.
Municipal inspection/observation experience.
