Responsibilities

Generate and develop new business opportunities by actively seeking out prospective commercial clients and growing a book of business.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by understanding their unique insurance needs and delivering tailored solutions.
Collaborate with internal teams, including account managers and underwriters, to ensure efficient handling of client accounts.
Act as a trusted advisor, educating clients on risk assessment, insurance products, and coverage options.
Stay current with market trends, industry regulations, and underwriting guidelines to provide clients with accurate and up-to-date advice.
Prepare and present insurance proposals and policy recommendations to clients, negotiating terms to meet client needs.
Provide exceptional post-sale service, including policy renewals, changes, and claims management.
Adhere to ethical standards and regulatory requirements while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
Participate in networking and community events to build strong professional relationships and establish a presence in the market.
Qualifications/Requirements

Education & Licensure :
High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field preferred.
Must hold a valid state Property & Casualty Insurance Producer license or be able to obtain one within a designated timeframe.

Experience :
Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial insurance sales or as an insurance producer, with a proven track record of achieving sales goals.

Skills & Competencies :
Strong knowledge of commercial lines insurance products and markets.
Excellent interpersonal, networking, and relationship-building skills.
Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, with the proficiency to explain complex information clearly.
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Proficient in CRM software and other insurance platforms/tools.
High attention to detail with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
