Delivery Driver/Warehouse Ops

PACE Supply, a leading employee-owned wholesale distributor of plumbing supplies, is excited to offer a full-time Warehouse Worker / Qualified Driver opportunity at our Dublin, CA branch.
We're looking for a motivated, safety-conscious team player who takes pride in their work and is committed to helping us deliver outstanding service to our customers every day.
Pick, pack, and prepare orders while keeping inventory accurate and shelves stocked
Safely make local deliveries to customers using a bobtail flatbed truck.
Work closely with dispatch to ensure timely and smooth delivery schedules
Holds a valid California Class C driver's license with a clean driving record
Obtain a medical examiners certificate
Has prior warehouse and delivery experience (working with dispatch is a plus)
Is organized, detail-oriented, and communicates well with customers
High school diploma/GED or equivalent
Monday-Friday schedule: 8:00am- 4:00pm

Delivery & Customer Service
Safely deliver plumbing products to customers' homes and designated locations.
Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on time, following established routes and schedules.
Obtain customer signatures on packing slips for receipt of goods and maintain accurate delivery records.
Address and resolve customer concerns in the field, escalating issues when necessary.
Communicate delivery status and any delays to the scheduling and routing team to ensure smooth operations.
Vehicle Operation & Maintenance

Safely load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling and secure transport of materials.
Perform routine vehicle inspections using the designated inspection form and report any safety concerns to management.
Maintain the cleanliness and basic upkeep of the delivery vehicle to ensure compliance with safety and company standards.
Warehouse Operations & Order Fulfillment

Pull orders from inventory manually or using a forklift, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Pack and label materials for delivery or customer pick-up, preparing necessary documentation such as bills of lading.
Verify filled orders before delivery or pick-up to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
Restock shelves and racks from overstock as needed to maintain proper inventory levels.
Assist in training new Delivery Drivers on company procedures, safety protocols, and customer service expectations.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, following safety protocols in the warehouse and delivery areas.
Foster a positive work atmosphere by communicating effectively with customers, coworkers, and management.
Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance of the job would qualify.

• High school diploma (or equivalent) is preferred. Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance of the job would qualify.
• Possess a valid CA Class C Driver's license and be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have clean driving record.
• Able to pass DOT physical to obtain a medical examiners certificate.
• Previous warehouse experience is strongly preferred, but not required.
• 2 years of professional driving related experience and/or training
• Basic knowledge and proper use of the English language, including reading, writing, and oral communications.
• Knowledge of driving laws and adherence to speed limits while driving a company vehicle.
• Knowledge of the procedure in the event of an accident in the warehouse or in company vehicle.
