The Radar Systems Engineer will:• Apply advanced technologies, scientificprinciples, theories and concepts to developrevolutionary system solutions• Support integration and test, evaluate testresults, investigate discrepancies, providetechnical assessment of anomalies, and driveissues to resolution• Conduct system verification and supportcertification activities• Represent the organization on contracts andinterface with internal and external customers,program and senior leadership, andmultidisciplinary engineering teams on significanttechnical matters• Have strong analytical and communicationskills and work well in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment• Be comfortable working in hands-on laboratoryor field environments• Work a Non-standard shift as needed• Have the ability to travel domestically andinternationally as needed to support site installs,checkout and integration testingThis position requires a U.DoD SecurityClearance. Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor’s degree or higher in ElectricalEngineering, Computer Science/Engineering,Physics or equivalent combined with minimum of5 years of related experience, or a Master'sdegree with 3 years of related experience• Functional knowledge of radar systems,subsystems and components• Experience in the integration and test of Radar systems• High proficiency in MATLAB, C++ or Python• Ability to perform data analysis• Flexibility to work non-standard work shifts asrequired by the supported program• Ability to travel domestically and internationallyas needed to support site installs, checkout andintegration testing• Ability to obtain & maintain a U.Citizenship is requiredDesired Skills:• Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering,Systems Engineering, ComputerScience/Engineering, Physics or equivalent• Radar systems development experienceincluding signal processing, algorithms, software,data analysis, and modeling & simulation• Hands-on experience with RF systems orantenna testing including near-field and far-fieldmeasurement techniques• Flexibility to work non-standard work shifts,such as evenings, nights and/or weekends asrequired by the supported program highlydesirable • Experience in Ballistic Missile Defense (BMD)and Anti-Aircraft Warfare (AAW) concepts anddesign implementation• Technical leadership experience with programexecution• Demonstrated analytical, applied mathematicsand problem-solving skills• Experience with automated build and systemdevelopment• Experience with managing pipelines acrossclassification boundaries• Ability to deploy new technologies, educateothers on their use and integrate them intoworkflowsSecurity Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
