Ultrasound Tech (OB) - Sonographer

The Ultrasound Technologist performs various imaging procedures ordered by physicians and manages daily activities to ensure quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.

Perform a variety of imaging procedures as ordered by physicians.

Manage day-to-day activities to ensure the delivery of quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.

Accurately follow physician orders, document exam completion in Meditech, scan documents, and verify images in PACS.

Follow proper procedures for quality controls and High-Level Disinfection (HLD)related to equipment and accessories.

Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.

ARDMS registered or eligible to acquire registration within six months of hire.

Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT)must be obtained within one year of employment start date.

Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - Abdomen Specialty (RDMS-AB)must be obtained within one year of employment start date.

Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS).

Previous acute care experience scanning abdominal, vascular, OB, and some peds strongly preferred.

Inpatient and women's ultrasound experience strongly preferred.
