Weekend Psychiatry Need (Physician #)

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Medical Director - Behavioral Health Services to join our growing behavioral health team. This is an In-patient position.
Position Highlights:

Primary inpatient, Outpatient, and Facility Consult Oversight and Coverage
Serve as Medical Director for Behavioral Health Services at Piedmont Macon
Expected schedule: 5 days (Mon- Fri), assist with weekend and night call as needed
Required to supervise mid-levels (APP s)
Opportunities to pick up additional shifts for consults via telehealth and/or in-person across the Piedmont system
Supervision of medical students and psychiatry residents
Epic EMR
Qualifications:

Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
Board-certified or board-eligible in Psychiatry
Active or eligible for medical licensure in Georgia
Experience supervising APP s is preferred
Strong clinical, administrative, and physician leadership skills
Previous experience with ketamine and TMS preferred
Experience treating both adults and adolescents preferred
