Head of Trading Products

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM
Position Overview A leading Japanese food trading and distribution company in Commerce, California is seeking an experienced Product Manager - Corporate Marketing Planning to join its team.
This position will be responsible for product strategy, product development, market analysis, product launches, and performance management . The Product Manager will work closely with internal departments, branch offices, vendors, and customers to develop and execute product strategies aligned with business goals.
The ideal candidate has a strong background across Sales, Purchasing, and Marketing , along with hands‑on experience in product development and successfully bringing products to market.
Key Responsibilities Develop and execute product strategies aligned with overall business goals
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for product development
Collaborate with multiple internal departments, vendors, and customers to drive product development
Monitor inventory and sales progress across all branch locations
Plan and manage product launches, marketing strategies, and product placement
Communicate with branch teams to identify and resolve order and inventory issues
Analyze product performance and provide insights to support business decisions
Coordinate cross‑functional projects related to products and marketing initiatives
Perform other related duties as needed
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
Minimum of 4 years of relevant work experience
Prior experience in Sales, Purchasing, and Marketing
Demonstrated experience in product development, product strategy, and successful product launches
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Experience with product management tools, data analysis, and project management methodologies
Experience with analytical tools such as Power BI
Strong negotiation and presentation skills
Strong interpersonal and cross‑functional communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain a high level of accuracy under tight deadlines
Dependable and responsible work ethic
Salary: $70,000-$90,000 annually, depending on experience
