Registered Nurse Travel Job Telemetry Shift Nights

TalentBurst, Inc is seeking a travel nurse RN MedSurg/Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Weekend rotation: every other

Holiday Expectations: Travelers will work 75% of holidays

Traveler's permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit

Beds: Will vary based on unit

18 months Med/Tele RN (Resource Team requirement)

Peritoneal Dialysis (PD)

Diabetes Mellitus

Behavioral health

RN: 1:5‑6 (critical surge 1:7‑8)

Stroke experience, cardiac rhythm interpretation, trach care, PIV starts, chest tube management, NGT placement, drain/tube management (Dobhoff, PEG tubes, Hemovac, JP drains, flexiseals, Foley insertion/management), PCA pumps

Charge nurse - may or may not have patients

Phlebotomy - peripheral blood draws

Resource Nurse - as staffing allows

Hospitalist, 24/7

Intensivist - ICU provider in house until 11p M‑F, till 7p Sat/Sun, VCC coverage and on‑call Intensivist

Telemetry monitoring/tech: none

Technology / Equipment

EMR: Epic

All units within scope at Mercy

Required to float per region needs - will require floating to all listed facilities as needed; Region 1 - Cabarrus, University City, Stanly, Lake Norman, Central Division (CMC Main + Mercy + LCH (Peds only) - could float to any of the facilities within region if the need arises

Region 2 - Pineville, Anson, Union, Union West, Central Division (CMC Main + CMC Mercy + Levine Children’s Hospital)

If floating mid‑shift, Traveler will be paid for the time traveling between facilities (will remain on the clock)

RTO: Can approve up to 6 days off, excluding holidays - must add time to the end of the contract if unable to meet contracted hours
