Quality Inspector

Are you detail-oriented and passionate about quality? We are seeking a Quality Inspector to join our precision machining operation specializing in cast and machined components. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring products meet customer and engineering specifications through dimensional inspections, blueprint interpretation, and quality verification processes.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with inspection experience who enjoy working with precision measuring equipment in a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing environment.

Perform in-process and final inspections of machined and cast components to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and quality standards.

Utilize precision measuring instruments including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.

Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documentation to determine inspection requirements and acceptance criteria.

Conduct visual inspections to identify defects, surface imperfections, and non-conforming product conditions.

Accurately document inspection findings and maintain detailed quality records.

Follow established quality procedures, work instructions, and inspection standards.

Perform routine quality checks throughout the manufacturing process to support consistent product quality.

Collaborate with production personnel to address quality concerns and support corrective actions.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe inspection area.

Experience using precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges .

Previous quality inspection experience within a manufacturing or machining environment.

Strong attention to detail and ability to identify dimensional and visual defects.

Experience documenting inspection results and maintaining quality records.

Background working in a machine shop, CNC machining, foundry, or precision manufacturing environment.

Familiarity with quality standards, inspection procedures, and continuous improvement practices.

Ability to effectively communicate with quality, engineering, and production teams.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of MINNEAPOLIS, MN.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
