Registered Nurse In Emergency Room

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day, Mid Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years ER experience required License: MO or Compact required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, SAFE Must-Have: - Cardiac Monitoring and Emergency Services - IV therapy/Phlebotomy - Medications - Neurological - Orthopedics - Pediatrics - Psychiatric - Respiratory - Shock/Trauma Description: Locals are not allowed. The start date is ASAP. The schedule includes a combination of shifts from 11:00 - 23:00 and 13:00 - 01:00. Patients include neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Nurses may be required to float to another department as Helping Hands or take a patient assignment. The nurse floating will not be required to care for patients outside of their established competencies. Expect to work some holidays. Specific skills required include the management of various medical conditions and procedures. The unit operates with a maximum of 20 rooms and 16 beds.
