Advocacy Attorney

Job OverviewA law firm seeks a Pre-Suit Attorney for its Buffalo, New York office. This role offers an opportunity to gain experience in personal injury law, focusing on pre-litigation processes. The attorney will make critical decisions and contribute significantly to the firm's success.

DutiesHandle all pre-litigation work daily.

Complete the Flip-to-Lit approval process.

Guide clients through the case process.

Draft and file pre-litigation documents.

Complete TD approval for liability issues.

Oversee settlement negotiations and demand package formation.

Manage the release approval process.

Lead a team of 6-10 Case Managers.

Focus on personal injury cases, primarily automotive.

Drive compliance and KPIs among the team.

Conduct EUOs, PIP statements, and recorded statements.

RequirementsLaw degree from a fully accredited law school.

Active member in good standing with the State Bar Association.

1+ years of personal injury experience.

Ability to manage a high volume of pre-litigation cases.

Excellent client service and communication skills.

Strong leadership skills.

Self-starter driven by long-term career goals.

Superior writing and oral advocacy skills.

EducationJuris Doctor (JD) degree.
