Dispatcher - Midnight Shift

Dispatcher I - 12 Hour Night Shift
Position Type: Dispatch Job Shift 8hr Travel Percentage: None Category: IC1
Thursday to Saturday 6p-6a plus Tuesday 7a-11a
This position is responsible for executing a daily plan for movement of all freight within an assigned area.
Assess customer needs and timing of deliveries
Plan deliveries to inventory-managed food grade customers
Provide frontline customer service for existing accounts
Answer all incoming phone calls promptly and courteously
Monitor e-mail for incoming orders, inventory updates, and communication between team members
Monitor web portals for station inventories
Solicit freight from customers
High school diploma or equivalent
~Promote positive work habits including effective and timely communication, teamwork and respect for co-workers.
- Provide constructive guidance to other employees and representatives of third parties.
- Contribute to providing the highest quality of products and services to customers.
