Process/Quality Engineering

Overview

We are looking for a product engineer to be brought on for a multi-year project after an acquisition of a new surgical company. Product needs to be fully remediated through review of the DHF. Set design inputs and outputs for any change in product DHF. Location: Warsaw, IN. Salary: $80,000.00-$95,000.00.

Responsibilities

Describe in detail the DHF/DFMEA process, including how to validate and verify on prints what the critical components are.

Remediate product through review of the DHF and set design inputs and outputs for any change in product DHF.

Qualifications

Full working knowledge of and moderate level of experience with product development and product lifecycle

Demonstrated ability to methodically investigate, determine appropriate solution and resolve problems using current technology

Ability to develop project schedule and assess cross functional team’s progress on assignments relative to project schedule

Ability to process customer complaints, engineering changes and nonconforming product, and make recommendations based upon business principles

Professional, concise, tactful and sensitive in communications. Accomplishes objectives when communicating with internal personnel, and external customers and vendors.

Demonstrated good written and verbal communication skills including presentation skills

Working knowledge of drafting standards and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing

Assures preproduction quality requirements are met
