Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic knowledge of laboratory safety and specimen handling procedures.
Certification as a Phlebotomy Technician or Medical Laboratory Assistant.
Previous experience in a clinical or laboratory setting.
Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS/LIMS).
Knowledge of biosafety regulations and infection control practices.
Receive, verify, and log incoming specimens according to established laboratory procedures.
Prepare specimens for testing through centrifugation, aliquoting, labeling, and other processing activities.
Maintain specimen storage areas and ensure proper handling and environmental conditions.
Accurately document specimen information and processing activities in laboratory information systems.
Follow laboratory safety, infection control, and quality assurance standards at all times.
Communicate specimen discrepancies or concerns to appropriate laboratory personnel.
Collaborate with laboratory staff to support efficient workflow and timely test processing.
