Head of Programme Management

FMS Aerospace is currently seeking an experienced full-time, permanent Program Manager for our Huntsville office location. Provide the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals.

Lead the planning and implementation of a project

Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals, and deliverables

Communicate with customer the status of the project

Define project tasks and resource requirements

Develop full scale project plans and schedules

Assemble and coordinate project staff

Manage all aspects of the project budget

Manage project resource allocation

Plan and schedule project timelines

Track project deliverables using appropriate tools

Provide direction and support to the project team

Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders

Present reports defining project progress, problems, and solutions

Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs

Perform project evaluations and assessment of results

Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Systems Integration, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 5-10 years work experience

Ability to effectively manage time over several programs

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work proficiently with remotely located employees

Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Proficiency in English (written and spoken)

S. citizen

Must currently possess or be able to receive Department of Defense Secret clearance

Experienced with Microsoft Projects is a plus

PMP certification is a plus
