Full Time Physiatrist Needed

Job Title: Physical Therapist

Location: Grafton, WV

Salary Range: $40-$50 per hour

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, 5 days a week with no weekend rotation.

Facility: Small facility with 69 beds, specializing in short-term rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide hands-on therapy and exercises to improve strength, mobility, and range of motion
• Educate patients and their families on proper techniques for exercises and activities to promote recovery
• Monitor and document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and effective care for patients
• Stay current with advancements in physical therapy techniques and treatments
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation
• Adhere to all ethical and legal standards of practice

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in short-term rehabilitation
• Strong knowledge of physical therapy principles, techniques, and modalities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
• Basic computer skills and experience with electronic medical records
