About the Role:
Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join a PCU unit in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role involves delivering patient-centered care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring high clinical standards.
Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor ongoing conditions
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Assist with ADLs and patient mobility where applicable
• Monitor vitals, pain levels, and report any clinical changes
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, Meditech)
• Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions
• Follow infection control and safety protocols

High-acuity, team-based setting requiring adaptability and strong clinical judgment

Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice
• BLS Certification (Required)
• Minimum 1-2 years of recent experience in PCU
• Experience in hospital or clinical setting preferred
• Strong clinical knowledge and patient care skills
• Excellent communication, documentation, and time management skills
• ACLS preferred (required for ICU/ER settings)
• Experience with IV therapy, telemetry, and high-acuity patients
• Ability to manage multiple patients in PCU unit
