Typical Shift

We offer flexible part-time scheduling with one-on-one, client-based care.

Whether you're looking for a few hours each week or a consistent part-time schedule, we'll work with you to find assignments that fit your lifestyle while allowing you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors.

Your shift begins by traveling to your assigned client's home. Companionship and conversation

Light housekeeping

Personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and oral care

Showering and toileting assistance

Medication administration (when permitted by company policy and state regulations)

Mobility assistance, transferring, and escorting

Assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs)

You will not be asked to perform skilled nursing services , such as injections, wound care, or therapy.

Available shifts may include:

Morning Shifts

Afternoon Shifts

Evening Shifts

Overnight Shifts

Weekend Shifts

As a Care Professional, you will:

Assist clients with personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, grooming, and other activities of daily living.

Provide companionship and emotional support.

Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.

Complete required in-service training.

Document daily care activities accurately and in a timely manner according to company policies and procedures.

At Home Instead Louisville, we value the dedication and compassion of our Care Professionals. Starting wage: $14.00 per hour

• Additional $1.00 per hour for weekend shifts
• $250 Employee Referral Bonus

We are currently hiring in:

Possess a valid driver's license and current auto insurance

Have experience providing in-home care and assisting seniors with ADLs
