Litigation Paralegal temp

Scion Staffing is conducting a search for a Litigation Paralegal on behalf of a respected regional, full-service business law firm. This is a direct-hire, hybrid opportunity based in either the firm's Portland, Maine or Manchester, New Hampshire office.

Prepare, file, and manage pleadings and other court documents using state and federal electronic filing systems.
Draft motions, discovery requests and responses, subpoenas, affidavits, notices, certificates of service, and other litigation documents.
Support attorneys through all phases of litigation, including discovery, eDiscovery, depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial.
Prepare exhibits, trial binders, deposition materials, and hearing notebooks.
Calculate, calendar, and monitor litigation deadlines in accordance with applicable court rules.
Maintain organized electronic case files within the firm's document management system.
Conduct legal and factual research and prepare concise memoranda.
Provide comprehensive litigation and administrative support to attorneys while managing multiple priorities.

Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate required.
Prior experience as a litigation paralegal.
Strong legal research, writing, proofreading, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet competing deadlines.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Transactional legal experience is a plus.

Compensation: $35.16-$43.43 per hour, depending on experience.
