Human Resources Generalist, Payroll and Recruitment

This posting will be used for ongoing recruitment and may close at any time. This position will provide day-to-day Human Resources support to staff at Los Lunas Community Program. Incumbent will be responsible for classification, compensation, recruitment related matters and serve as a backup for payroll duties. Incumbent will also ensure that duties are processed timely and in accordance with all established policies & procedures, as well as all regulatory requirements.

Bachelor's Degree in any field and one (1) year of experience in human resource operations; recruitment, selection, payroll, compensation and benefits administration, labor relations, investigations, HR-related training experience, and/or occupational analysis. Successful completion of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) course.
Working Conditions The incumbent may be exposed to unpredictable violent behavior of the resident. Exposure to Visual/Video Display Terminal (VDT) and extensive personal computer and phone usage. Bargaining Unit Position This position is not covered by a collective bargaining agreement.
